Khadija Uwes Sheikh is the Program Manager at Comert Consulting, bringing over five years of progressive experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) across humanitarian and development sectors in Somalia and Kenya.
Before joining Comert Consulting, Khadija held senior MEAL roles with the Agency for Minority Rights and Development (AMARD) and Rural Education and Agricultural Development Organization (READO). In these roles, she led the design and implementation of M&E frameworks, oversaw data-driven reporting systems, and championed inclusive, accountable programming for marginalized communities. Her work spanned diverse sectors including WASH, multi-purpose cash assistance (MPCA), food security, and community health
Khadija holds a degree in International Relations from Mount Kenya University, a Diploma in Project Management from the University of Nairobi, and a Certificate in Community Health and HIV/AIDS Management from NEP College. She has also completed specialized trainings in Humanitarian Access and Negotiation, Data Quality Assurance, and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), among others.
A passionate advocate for gender equity and minority rights, Khadija is recognized for her strong ethical foundation, strategic communication skills, and commitment to evidence-based, community-centered programming. She is proficient in digital data collection tools such as KOBO and Comcare, and skilled in data analysis and visualization using Excel and Power BI.
Her proven ability to collaborate with diverse communities, government agencies, and international NGOs positions her as a key leader in driving impactful programs that deliver sustainable change
