Hashim Abass Sharif is the Finance Manager at Comert Consulting, where he leads financial planning, budgeting, risk management, and administrative operations with a focus on accountability and strategic resource allocation.

With over a decade of experience in financial management across both humanitarian and development sectors, Hashim has developed deep expertise in financial analysis, compliance, and project monitoring. Before joining Comert Consulting, he served as a Finance Manager at UNICEF, where he supported impactful programming through evidence-based financial insights and robust monitoring systems.

He also held several key leadership roles at the Somali Development Initiative (SODIN), including Finance Officer, Project Manager, and ultimately Executive Director. In these roles, he oversaw program implementation, financial compliance, and organizational resource management.

Hashim holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Kenya Methodist University and a bachelor’s in business administration from Daaru Salaam University. He has further enhanced his professional skill set through specialized certifications in QuickBooks, Monitoring & Evaluation, Business Information Technology, and Microsoft Office.
