Wesley Ochoka is currently an analyst with the Comert Consulting East Africa team, where he supports analysis, reporting, and technical assistance across various development and policy projects. Prior to joining Comert Consulting, Wesley worked with Altai Consulting on the Evaluation, Learning and Monitoring Initiative (ELMI) project, where he was involved in high-level analysis, reporting, and technical support.

Before his role at Altai, Wesley served as a data analyst at the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA). In this position, he was responsible for developing quantitative research tools, conducting periodic market assessments, and preparing reports for the Office of the Executive Director (OED). He also gained field experience as a research assistant with Balloon Ventures, an ICS-funded social enterprise initiative.

Wesley has developed extensive expertise in research, data analysis, and reporting. He is proficient in a wide range of analytical tools and software, including EViews, MATLAB, Python, SAS, STATA, SPSS, and R Studio.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and Statistics and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Statistics at Egerton University, Kenya.
